The Construction Safety Laboratory (CSL) at North Carolina State University focuses on research that addresses the many safety challenges experienced in the construction industry. Our laboratory uses state-of-the-art technologies such as eye-tracking, wearable devices, and virtual reality to support the understanding of important safety factors such as hazard recognition, risk perception, training engagement, physiological demands, and ergonomic demands.
The CSL is currently seeking qualified and motivated students interested in developing creative safety solutions for the construction industry. A limited number of financial assistantships are available.
